Meet Our Artists

At the heart of Passion Project: Opera! is a growing community of artists drawn together by curiosity, trust, and a shared belief in the power of intimate storytelling through music. Our singers, musicians, directors, designers, and collaborators bring not only technical excellence to their work, but a deep commitment to emotional truth, generosity of spirit, and meaningful connection—with one another and with our audiences.

Each production becomes a meeting place: of voices, disciplines, perspectives, and lived experience. Some of our artists are longtime collaborators; others are new to the Passion Project circle, joining us for a single production or returning again and again as part of our extended artistic family. What unites them is a willingness to engage deeply—with the music, with the story, and with the people beside them in the room.

Suor Angelica & L’enfant Prodigue

This paired production, presented in collaboration with the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra (SASO), brings together two emotionally rich works that explore grief, longing, and the possibility of redemption through music. Suor Angelica offers a powerful portrait of loss and compassion, while L’Enfant Prodigue reflects on separation, forgiveness, and the complex bonds that call us home.

Performed across multiple venues in the Tucson community, these works invite audiences into a moving and deeply human musical experience that resonates well beyond the final note.
