Aysen Idil Milliogullari is an international opera singer, educator, and choral conductor. She has performed with Arizona Opera; the Turkish State Opera houses of Ankara, Samsun, and Antalya; the New York Lyric Opera Theatre; Mannes Opera; and ensembles such as the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Tucson. Her recent major roles include Luisa (cover) in Zorro with Arizona Opera and Mukhtar Mai in Thumbprint, for which the Arizona Daily Star praised her “amazing coloratura soprano range.”

Milliogullari is the first-prize winner of the 2022 Amelia Rieman Vocal Competition and third-prize winner of the 2021 Marguerite Ough Vocal Competition. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance with a minor in Choral Conducting from the University of Arizona, where she received the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award. She also holds a Master of Music from the Mannes School of Music in New York and a Bachelor’s degree with highest distinction from Ankara University State Conservatory.

In addition to her performing career, she serves as Associate Faculty at Cochise College, Vocal Instructor and Associate Conductor at the Tucson Girls Chorus, a staff singer with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and Director of Music Ministries at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
