Tenor, Anthony Allen Taylor is a Tucsonan of various talents—as a singer, director and acting coach. He has shined in principal roles with Livermore Valley Opera in California, Lowell Opera in Massachusetts, Arts Express in Tucson, and the University of Arizona Opera Theater, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. His roles include Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni), Falke (Die Fledermaus), and Danilo (The Merry Widow). In the symphonic repertoire, Anthony has been featured as a soloist with the Tucson Philharmonia, Southern Arizona Symphony and Tucson Masterworks Chorale.

Additionally, as a professional chorister, he has sung with Arizona Opera and Tucson Symphony. His background as a violist led to opportunities to conduct the Tucson Junior Strings and various church choirs in the Tucson area. Mr. Taylor is delighted to be making his debut with Passion Project: Opera! in the role of Contadino.
